Responsibilities

• Review insurance policies and interpret terms and conditions to verify coverage.
• Investigate liability using recorded statements, police reports, and other evidence.
• Evaluate liability and damages, then negotiate or deny liability based on findings.
• Set claim reserves and negotiate settlements within authorized guidelines.
• Document claim decisions and communications to meet legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
• Explain the claims process and decisions to customers while providing supportive service.
