Senior Litigation Insurance Claims Adjuster

As a Senior Litigation Claims Adjuster, you will investigate, evaluate, and resolve litigated personal lines claims. You verify coverage, analyze liability using statements, reports, and evidence, and negotiate fair settlements within authority. You collaborate with defense counsel and coverage attorneys, document decisions in line with regulations, and mentor less-experienced adjusters. This hybrid role combines office-based teamwork with some remote work days, depending on assigned hub location.

Responsibilities

• Investigate litigated personal lines claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages
• Review insurance policies and work with coverage counsel on declaratory or summary judgment actions
• Gather and analyze evidence, including recorded statements, police reports, and scene photos
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys within assigned authority limits
• Document claim activity, decisions, and communications to meet regulatory and internal standards
• Collaborate with defense counsel and internal partners to develop and execute claim strategies
• Mentor and support other claims associates by sharing technical knowledge and best practices
• Manage a litigated claim caseload, prioritizing tasks to meet quality and timeliness expectations
