Job Description
SAAB is seeking a Program Operations Manager to lead complex manufacturing programs delivering advanced defense and security systems. You will own program execution from planning through delivery, aligning schedules, budgets, and resources across engineering, production, supply chain, and quality. Responsibilities include building detailed program plans, tracking performance metrics, managing risks and change, and driving process improvements to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. You'll collaborate with global, cross functional teams, ensure compliance with defense regulations, and communicate status to leadership. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of manufacturing programs from planning through delivery
- Develop and maintain integrated schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate across engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams
- Monitor KPIs, risks, and issues, driving corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with defense and export control regulations
- Manage stakeholder communication and reporting to leadership
- Implement process improvements to enhance cost, quality, and delivery performance
- Support change management, scope control, and configuration management
- Collaborate with global teams to align on requirements and delivery milestones
- Foster a culture of safety, continuous learning, and cross-functional teamwork
