Program Lead

Saab seeks a Program Lead to own delivery of complex manufacturing programs for advanced defense and security systems. You will plan, execute, and control cross-functional projects from concept through production, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality. Partner with engineering, supply chain, production, and customers to align requirements, resolve issues, and ensure regulatory and defense compliance. Use metrics to drive performance, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery in a high-tech, mission-driven manufacturing environment that values innovation, safety, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex manufacturing programs for defense systems
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality to meet contractual and internal targets
• Coordinate cross-functional teams in engineering, supply chain, production, and quality
• Ensure compliance with defense, security, and export control regulations
• Engage with customers and stakeholders, providing clear status, forecasts, and issue resolution
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence using data and metrics
• Align program deliverables with Saab's safety, innovation, and security-focused mission
• Support resource planning, vendor oversight, and change management across programs
