Automotive Service Technician

Promotive is seeking an experienced A/B Automotive Technician to deliver top-tier diagnostic and repair services. You'll perform advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics, complete complex repairs, and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Collaborate with service advisors and teammates, document work clearly, and maintain a clean, efficient bay. Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
• Complete complex repairs, maintenance, and system overhauls to manufacturer standards
• Use OBD-II and other diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Collaborate with service advisors to explain findings and repair recommendations
• Document all work performed, parts used, and test results accurately in repair orders
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality and safety
• Stay current on new vehicle technologies, tools, and service procedures
• Assist in mentoring junior technicians as needed
• Meet productivity and quality metrics to qualify for top compensation tiers
