Pool Attendant - Resort Hospitality

Join Marriott as a Pool Attendant at Gaby's by the Lake, supporting a safe, welcoming pool and lakefront experience for resort guests. You'll set up and break down loungers, umbrellas, and towels, monitor pool and deck cleanliness, and respond quickly to guest requests. You'll restock supplies, handle basic pool rule communication, and coordinate with lifeguards and food & beverage staff to ensure seamless service. This role requires strong guest-service skills, the ability to stand and lift throughout the shift, and a focus on safety, cleanliness, and Marriott's high hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down pool and lakeside areas, including chairs, umbrellas, and towel stations
• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating and towel distribution
• Maintain cleanliness of pool deck, lounge areas, and surrounding spaces
• Monitor towel, water, and amenity stock; restock as needed
• Communicate and reinforce basic pool rules and safety guidelines
• Coordinate with lifeguards and food & beverage teams for seamless service
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve minor issues
• Report safety, maintenance, or cleanliness concerns to supervisors
• Assist with poolside events or activities as directed
• Follow Marriott brand standards, policies, and safety procedures
