Maintenance Technician I

Clayens US LLC, a San Francisco-based software innovator, seeks a Maintenance Technician Level I for 3rd shift. In this on-site role, you will perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility and production-support equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and ensure critical systems run reliably to support software development operations. You'll respond to work orders, document tasks in a CMMS, follow strict safety procedures, and collaborate with engineers and IT staff. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility and production-support equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues during 3rd shift
• Respond to and prioritize maintenance work orders in a CMMSInspect building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and safety equipment
• Support IT and engineering teams by maintaining equipment that underpins software operations
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards and participate in safety checks
• Document maintenance activities, parts used, and time spent on tasks
• Assist with minor installations, moves, and equipment setups
• Report recurring issues and suggest improvements to maintenance procedures
• Collaborate with day-shift staff for smooth handoffs and continuity of operations
