Facilities Maintenance Technician I

Clayens US LLC, a leading software solutions provider based in San Francisco, seeks a Maintenance Technician I to support smooth facility and equipment operations. You'll perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and troubleshooting on building systems, office hardware, and light production or lab equipment. Using maintenance software, you'll track work orders, document service history, and support safety and compliance checks. Collaborating with IT and operations teams, you'll help ensure a reliable, efficient workplace that allows our engineers and staff to focus on delivering innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building, office, and light production or lab equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Use maintenance software (CMMS) to receive, prioritize, and close work orders
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used
• Support safety checks and compliance with company and OSHA standards
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs
• Assist IT and operations teams with equipment moves and setup as needed
• Monitor inventory of tools and spare parts and report replenishment needs
