ER Travel Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations on night shifts
• Perform rapid triage and prioritize care in a fast-paced ER setting
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform ordered treatments
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses to interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR accurately and timely
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control protocols
• Educate and support patients and families during emergent situations
• Respond to codes and other critical events as part of the ER team
• Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and department needs
