Med Surg Travel Nurse

Advantis Medical Staffing seeks a Med Surg Travel Nurse for a night-shift assignment in Asheville, NC. In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive inpatient care on a fast-paced Med Surg unit, performing assessments, administering medications, managing IVs, and coordinating care for diverse adult populations. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Med Surg nursing care on night shift to adult inpatients.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, monitor vitals, and recognize changes in condition.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care per provider orders and protocols.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and maintain detailed, timely records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members on care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times.
• Support safe discharges and care transitions through effective coordination and communication.
