Class A OTR Truck Driver - Hazardous Waste

Clean Harbors seeks a safety-focused Class A OTR Van Driver to support our environmental and industrial services network. In this role, you will operate late-model Class A tractor-trailers hauling environmental and industrial waste and related materials between customer sites, transfer stations, and company facilities. Responsibilities include safe and compliant OTR driving, precise loading/unloading, completing DOT inspections, maintaining accurate electronic logs, and following all hazardous waste handling and spill-response procedures. You'll represent Clean Harbors professionally, support our safety-first culture, and help deliver sustainable solutions across North America.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional and long-haul OTR routes hauling environmental and industrial waste materials
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards
• Load, secure, and unload freight safely, following hazardous waste handling and spill-response procedures as required
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, manifests, and regulatory documentation
• Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and Clean Harbors safety policies and driving regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and facility staff to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Report equipment issues, incidents, and safety concerns promptly
• Represent Clean Harbors professionally, upholding a safety-first and environmentally responsible culture
