Class A OTR Truck Driver

Clean Harbors seeks a Class A OTR Van Driver to support our environmental and industrial services operations across North America. In this role, you'll safely transport materials between client sites and company facilities, following all DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and manifests, and ensuring secure, compliant loading and unloading. You'll represent Clean Harbors professionally with customers while contributing to projects that protect the environment and support workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on regional and long-haul (OTR) routes transporting materials between client sites and Clean Harbors facilities
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting and addressing any mechanical or safety issues
• Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies, including HOS regulations and PPE use
• Secure, load, and unload cargo safely, following proper handling procedures for industrial and environmental materials
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, manifests, and trip documentation for all assignments
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and site personnel to coordinate schedules and service needs
• Follow designated routes while adjusting for weather, traffic, or site conditions to ensure on-time, safe deliveries
• Support spill response or special environmental projects as directed, within driver scope and training
• Keep vehicle clean and organized, and report incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns promptly
• Uphold Clean Harbors' safety-first and environmental protection culture on every assignment.
