Mechanic-Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

Stellantis is seeking a Mechanic - Refrigeration and Air Conditioning to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure optimal climate control for production, testing, and office areas. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and schematics, charging systems, replacing components, and maintaining EPA-compliant refrigerant handling practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, support continuous improvement, and uphold safety, quality, and sustainability standards across plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems in manufacturing facilities
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues on HVAC/R equipment
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics
• Charge, recover, and manage refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
• Replace compressors, motors, valves, filters, and other system components
• Monitor system performance and optimize climate control for production areas
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately
• Collaborate with production, facilities, and engineering teams on equipment needs
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures
