Mobile Engine Test Stand Mechanic

Stellantis seeks a Mobile Engine Test Stand Mechanic to maintain, repair, and operate engine test stands supporting advanced powertrain development. In this on-site role, you'll install and align engines, connect fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems, and ensure accurate data collection for combustion, emissions, and durability tests. You'll diagnose mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve reliability. You'll work within strict safety and quality standards, contributing to innovation in electrified and high-efficiency propulsion at a global mobility leader.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and operate mobile engine test stands for powertrain development
• Install, align, and secure engines on test stands and connect fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems
• Set up and verify sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition for engine testing
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on test stands and support equipment
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support test plans and resolve technical issues
• Document work performed, test setups, and maintenance activities accurately
• Follow strict safety, quality, and environmental procedures in a manufacturing test environment
