SHR Talent is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax planning, compliance, reporting, and strategy for a growing real estate development organization.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee federal and state tax compliance, including partnership tax returns (Form 1065).
• Manage third-party tax preparers and coordinate tax accounting activities with internal teams and external advisors.
• Develop tax strategies to minimize liabilities and evaluate the impact of changing tax regulations.
• Review tax accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with accounting teams, auditors, and external partners.
• Support special projects, tax research, and real estate tax payments.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 4-6 years of direct tax experience in public accounting or a corporate environment.
• Hands-on partnership tax return preparation experience required.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state taxation, tax accounting, and financial reporting.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Real estate industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
