Laboratory Assistant II

ProPath Services, LLC, a leading pathology laboratory in Dallas, seeks a Laboratory Assistant II to support high-volume anatomic and clinical testing. In this role, you will receive, label, and process specimens; prepare slides and samples; operate and maintain basic lab equipment; and accurately document data in laboratory systems. Working within a collaborative, quality-driven team, you'll follow strict safety and quality protocols while supporting pathologists and technologists. Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory procedures and specimen processing under supervision
• Prepare, label, and organize samples for analysis and storage
• Operate and maintain basic laboratory instruments and equipment
• Follow standard operating procedures, quality, and safety protocols
• Document test data accurately in laboratory information systems
• Assist technologists and pathologists with daily workflow and special projects
• Monitor inventory and restock reagents, supplies, and consumables
• Support timely turnaround of diagnostic testing to meet patient care needs
