Banquet Houseperson - Hospitality

Marriott International, a global leader in the hospitality industry with more than 8,000 properties across 139 countries, is seeking a dedicated Banquets Houseperson to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional service and ensuring the smooth operation of banquet functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring each event space is impeccably presented and equipped according to event specifications. Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms as per the provided floor plan or event order, including tables, chairs, stage, dance floor, and any special equipment requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet, meeting, and conference areas before, during, and after events.
• Assist in the transportation and storage of food and equipment.
• Act quickly to make necessary adjustments to room setup based on special requests or other requirements as instructed by the banquet manager or supervisor.
• Work closely with the banquet kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure safety standards are met and all equipment is handled and stored properly.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and address any concerns or questions during events.
