Entry-Level Local Delivery Driver

Performance Food Group is seeking an Entry Level Delivery Driver for our Springfield West area wholesale food distribution operations. In this role, you will safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport food and related products to restaurants, schools, healthcare, and retail customers. You'll follow established routes, load and unload products, verify orders, and provide friendly, professional customer service at each stop. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle on assigned local routes
• Load, unload, and deliver food and related products to customer locations
• Verify orders, obtain signatures, and complete delivery documentation
• Provide courteous, professional customer service at each stop
• Follow all safety, DOT, and company policies and procedures
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues
• Secure loads to prevent damage and ensure product accuracy
• Communicate delivery issues or delays to dispatch or supervisors
• Handle cases, pallets, and product using proper lifting techniques
