Industrial Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing

A. O. Smith seeks a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations producing water heaters and treatment products. In this performance-driven, safety-focused environment, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and help minimize downtime. You'll collaborate with engineering and operations on continuous improvement, follow strict safety and LOTO procedures, and keep accurate CMMS records, while growing your technical skills in a stable, global manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
• Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and repairs to ensure safe, efficient operation
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation in CMMSCollaborate with production and engineering to support continuous improvement projects
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company standards
• Support root-cause analysis and recommend improvements for equipment reliability
