JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active AZ license
- Board: BC/BE (NCCPA)
- DEA: Yes
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH
- Other Qualifications: Graduate from NCCPA-approved program or Master's Degree in Nursing
- Provide coverage in CT Surgery department managing 10-15 CVICU/step down patients per day
- Assist in 1-2 cardiothoracic surgeries per day
- Perform special procedures including temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, and Aline placement
- Take call from 3p - 7a on coverage days
- Utilize proficiency with EVH (endoscopic vein harvesting) during surgical cases
