Mongo Bay Cook

Treasure Island Resort & Casino is seeking a Mongo Bay Cook to prepare fresh, flavorful dishes for our popular dining venue. In this fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, you will execute recipes, maintain proper food handling and sanitation, and ensure consistent quality and presentation. You'll set up and break down stations, coordinate timing with the culinary team, and support a smooth service while following safety and tribal standards. This role offers growth, training, and the chance to contribute to a welcoming, guest-first dining experience at our resort in Welch, MN.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items for Mongo Bay according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines
• Set up, stock, and maintain a clean, organized cooking station before, during, and after service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards
• Coordinate timing and communication with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation, adjusting as needed for consistency
• Assist with prep work, batch cooking, and replenishing items during peak periods
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance or safety issues
• Minimize waste by following proper storage, labeling, and rotation procedures
• Support a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment aligned with tribal values
• Follow resort, tribal, and health department policies and procedures at all times
