ASRS Industrial Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking an ASRS Maintenance Mechanic Apprentice to support automated warehouse systems in our Phoenix distribution center. In this hands-on role, you'll assist with inspections, basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, lubrication, and minor repairs on conveyors, cranes, and automated storage/retrieval equipment. Under guidance from senior technicians, you'll learn preventive maintenance practices, safety procedures, and documentation standards while helping ensure reliable operations in a fast-paced, foodservice logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of ASRS, conveyors, and related equipment
• Perform routine lubrication, adjustments, and minor mechanical repairs under supervision
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
• Document maintenance activities and report issues to senior technicians
• Support preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with operations staff to respond to equipment issues quickly
• Participate in training to develop mechanical, electrical, and safety skills
• Help keep tools, parts, and work areas organized and compliant with company standards
