Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

St. David's Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our renowned cardiac services team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will support our commitment to exceptional care in our state-of-the-art catheterization labs, where precision and focused attention are paramount. This position requires a deep understanding of cardiac care and the ability to manage the complexities of cath lab procedures. The role is crucial in helping to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions using sophisticated imaging equipment, participating directly in life-saving procedures alongside top cardiologists and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures, including preparation and post-procedure care.
• Operate and maintain all cath lab equipment and instruments, including imaging and monitoring devices.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to all facility protocols and regulations during procedures.
• Document all clinical data and procedure details accurately in patient records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and cath lab efficiency.
