Healthcare ESD Floor Care Technician

Boston Children's Hospital seeks an ESD Floor Care Tech to support our Facilities & Maintenance team in a high-acuity pediatric setting. You will perform daily and periodic ESD floor care, including stripping, waxing, burnishing, and detailed cleaning in patient, treatment, and public areas. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll follow strict infection-prevention, safety, and static-control protocols while operating modern floor care equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform daily and periodic ESD floor care, stripping, waxing, and burnishing in patient and procedure areas
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely, following hospital and OSHA standards
• Apply proper chemicals and disinfectants to support infection prevention and static control
• Inspect floors for hazards, promptly resolving spills and unsafe conditions to protect patients and staff
• Coordinate with nursing and clinical teams to schedule work with minimal disruption to patient care
• Document tasks, report maintenance issues, and follow quality and safety checklists
• Follow all PPE, safety, and infection control protocols within pediatric environments
