Regional/Division Manager

Marshall & Sterling Inc seeks a Regional/Division Manager to lead growth of our commercial lines portfolio. You will manage a regional team, drive new business, and ensure exceptional service to middle-market and small commercial clients. Responsibilities include sales leadership, client strategy, carrier negotiations, and performance management. You'll collaborate closely with local offices, support training and development, and uphold our culture of integrity, community involvement, and long-term client relationships across the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a regional book of commercial lines business, ensuring retention and profitable growth
• Develop and execute sales and account development strategies for middle-market and small commercial clients
• Manage and mentor account managers and producers, promoting collaboration and high service standards
• Oversee underwriting submissions, coverage recommendations, and negotiation with carrier partners
• Analyze clients' risk profiles and design tailored insurance and risk management programs
• Monitor financial performance, pipeline, and key metrics for the division; report results to senior leadership
• Strengthen carrier and client relationships through regular meetings, reviews, and service plans
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, agency procedures, and E&O best practices
• Support new business development through networking, referrals, and community involvement
• Drive continuous improvement, training, and adoption of agency management systems and tools
