RN Acute Care Virtual Quality Support

UCHealth seeks an RN Acute Care Virtual Quality Support nurse to enhance patient safety and quality from a centralized virtual environment. In this role, you will remotely monitor acute care patients, review clinical documentation, and partner with bedside teams to ensure adherence to care protocols, core measures, and safety standards. You'll identify variances, escalate concerns, and support real-time problem-solving. Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor acute care patients and unit workflows using virtual tools
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with protocols
• Identify quality and safety gaps and promptly escalate concerns to bedside teams and providers
• Support adherence to core measures, regulatory standards, and best-practice guidelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care coordination and patient outcomes
• Use EHR and telehealth platforms to track metrics and support data-driven improvements
• Provide real-time guidance to clinical staff to improve documentation and care processes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and performance reporting
