Supervisor, Energy Services

Waste Management (WM) seeks a Supervisor, Energy Services to lead daily operations at waste-to-energy and landfill gas-to-energy sites. In this role, you will oversee technicians, schedule and prioritize work, and ensure optimal plant performance while maintaining strict safety and environmental compliance. You will analyze operational data, coordinate maintenance, manage vendors, and support project upgrades. Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, improve reliability, and drive sustainability results that benefit the communities WM serves.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily energy services operations at assigned WM facilities or sites
• Lead, schedule, and develop technicians to ensure safe and efficient performance
• Monitor plant performance and energy output, analyzing data to identify improvements
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards and procedures
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with internal teams and vendors
• Support capital and upgrade projects that enhance system reliability and efficiency
• Manage work orders, documentation, and reporting for audits and internal reviews
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to address service issues and performance goals
• Track budgets, costs, and resources to meet operational and financial targets
• Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement aligned with WM values
