Journeyman Ironworker

Raise, place, align, and connect structural-steel members for industrial infrastructure projects. Set up and guide hoisting operations, secure members with bolts or welds, verify alignment, and follow company and site safety procedures. Travel to different jobsites may be required on limited notice.

Responsibilities

• Set up hoisting equipment to raise and place structural-steel members.
• Fasten steel members to hoists and signal operators during lifts.
• Guide, push, pull, and position steel members using ropes and hand tools.
• Align structural members using plumb bobs, levels, drift pins, and wrenches.
• Bolt aligned members in place and cut or weld steel as needed.
• Follow company and jobsite safety procedures and participate in toolbox meetings.
