Contingent Workforce Specialist - Manufacturing

Nestlé Purina is seeking a Specialist Supplemental Workforce to coordinate temporary and contingent labor for our manufacturing operations. You will partner with plant leadership, HR, and staffing vendors to forecast labor needs, manage requisitions, onboard supplemental workers, and track performance and compliance. This role supports safety, quality, and productivity by ensuring the right talent is available at the right time while upholding Nestlé Purina's standards for inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supplemental and contingent workforce needs for manufacturing operations
• Collaborate with HR and plant leadership to forecast and plan labor requirements
• Manage relationships and service levels with staffing vendors
• Create and manage requisitions, candidate flow, and assignments in HR/ATS systems
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and documentation for supplemental workers
• Monitor compliance with safety, quality, and labor standards
• Track and report workforce metrics, costs, and performance trends
• Recommend process improvements to optimize workforce utilization and productivity
• Support inclusion, collaboration, and a safe workplace culture
• Ensure accurate records and alignment with company and regulatory requirements
