International Tax Manager

GXO Logistics is seeking a Manager, International Tax to join our Finance, Accounting & Administration team in the Transportation & Logistics industry. In this role, you will lead global tax planning, compliance and reporting for complex cross border operations. You will manage preparation and review of international tax filings, transfer pricing documentation and tax provision under US GAAP, while monitoring global tax law changes. Partner with finance and operational leaders worldwide to assess tax implications of business initiatives, drive process improvements, support audits and mitigate risk in a performance driven, data focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead international tax planning, compliance and reporting for global logistics operations
• Manage preparation and review of international income tax returns and related filings
• Oversee transfer pricing analysis, documentation and intercompany policies
• Prepare and review international components of the income tax provision under US GAAPMonitor global tax law changes and assess impact on GXO's structure and operations
• Advise on tax implications of cross border transactions, expansions and restructurings
• Partner with Finance, Accounting and business leaders to optimize global effective tax rate
• Support tax audits and controversies with foreign and domestic tax authorities
• Drive process improvements, controls and use of technology in tax data and reporting
• Mentor and develop tax staff in a performance driven, collaborative environment
