Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse

Provide direct nursing care to pediatric intensive care patients, assess and monitor patient conditions, coordinate with the multidisciplinary care team, and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions while maintaining accurate records and supporting safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms and changes in condition.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Modify treatment plans in response to patient conditions and treatment outcomes.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient care within a collaborative multidisciplinary setting.
• Educate patients and families about care, disease processes, and discharge instructions.
