Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
About the Role
Balanced Wellbeing, LLC is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing behavioral health team providing psychiatric services in skilled nursing, long-term care, and assisted living facilities.
This position focuses on psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing behavioral health care for adult and geriatric patients in facility-based settings. Providers work collaboratively with medical teams while maintaining autonomy in their clinical practice.
Compensation
* Base Salary: $120,000 annually
* Quarterly Performance Bonuses with strong earning potential

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
* Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders in adult and geriatric populations
* Provide medication management and treatment planning
* Collaborate with facility staff, physicians, and care teams
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
* Provide ongoing follow-up care and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications
* Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
* Active Florida APRN license or ability to obtain
* Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
* Active NPI number
* Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, skilled nursing, or long-term care preferred
* Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
