Operator I - Manufacturing
Location: Temecula, CA - Onsite
Pay Rate:$19.25-$27.94/hour
Contract: Through September 27, 2027
Schedule: Multiple Shifts
Hours: 40 hours/week
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Operator I candidates to support manufacturing operations in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience and be comfortable performing hands-on work requiring precision, visual inspection, and the use of microscopes and hand tools.Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manufacturing and production activities according to established procedures.
- Follow company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions.
- Use microscopes to perform detailed manufacturing and inspection tasks.
- Use hand tools to manipulate, handle, and work with components.
- Read, interpret, and follow written instructions and production information.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy throughout production activities.
- Participate in required training and follow instructions provided by trainers and supervisors.
- Perform work safely while meeting production and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience required.
- Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Previous warehouse, forklift, material-handling, or Amazon experience does not meet the manufacturing requirement by itself.
- Stable employment history and demonstrated ability to maintain employment are preferred.
- Proficiency in English is required for speaking, reading, writing, and participating in instructor-led training.
- Comfortable working with microscopes.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
- Ability to follow detailed policies and procedures.
- Ability to use hand tools and perform precision work.
- Must pass required eye and color vision testing.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, walk, and/or stand for up to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing less than 50 pounds.
- Must possess adequate close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
