Operations & Safety Manager

MV Transportation is hiring an Operations & Safety Manager to lead daily transit operations and champion a strong safety culture. In this on-site role, you will manage vehicle and operator performance, enforce DOT and OSHA compliance, investigate incidents, and oversee training and audits. You will optimize routes and schedules, track KPIs, and partner with dispatch, maintenance, and client stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable, and customer-focused transportation that connects riders to essential services and the community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transit operations to ensure safe, reliable, on-time service.
• Lead and enforce safety programs, including DOT and OSHA compliance.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and safety concerns; implement corrective actions.
• Manage operator staffing, scheduling, and performance to meet service requirements.
• Monitor KPIs for on-time performance, safety, and customer satisfaction; drive improvements.
• Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and client partners on service delivery.
• Conduct and support safety, onboarding, and refresher training for staff.
• Perform audits, inspections, and risk assessments of routes, facilities, and vehicles.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for operations and safety.
• Support budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting for site leadership and clients.
