Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Marriott is seeking an Engineer to support hotel operations within our global hospitality portfolio. In this role, you will inspect, maintain, and repair building systems, guest rooms, and public areas to ensure safety, comfort, and reliability. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and responding to guest-impact work orders. Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Support preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms and public areas
• Assist with troubleshooting HVAC, kitchen, and life-safety equipment
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on repairs and small projects
• Document maintenance activities and update work order systems
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and building regulations
• Collaborate with operations and housekeeping to resolve guest-impact issues
• Support energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Participate in on-call rotations and shift coverage as needed
