Industrial Maintenance Instructor - Career & Technical Education

Tri-Rivers Career Center in Marion, OH seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician instructor to train high school and adult learners for in-demand manufacturing careers. In this role, you will deliver hands-on instruction in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, PLCs, and industrial safety using modern labs and industry-standard equipment. You will design and update curriculum, assess student progress, support industry-recognized certifications, and collaborate with local employers to align training with workforce needs in a student-centered, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on instruction in industrial maintenance technologies
• Develop and update curriculum aligned to industry standards
• Guide students in lab, shop, and simulated work environments
• Assess student progress and provide feedback and support
• Maintain and safely operate training labs and equipment
• Collaborate with staff and industry partners on program goals
