Breakfast & Grab-and-Go Cook - Convenience Store

Beck Oil Company of Illinois is seeking an Early Morning Kitchen Team Member to prepare fresh, convenient food offerings in our Beck's branded store. Starting before the morning rush, you'll handle food prep, cooking, and setup of breakfast and grab-and-go items while following strict food safety and sanitation standards. You'll keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and organized, support customer service at the counter when needed, and work closely with a friendly, community-focused team to deliver fast, reliable service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and grab-and-go food items to company standards
• Set up kitchen and food stations before store opening
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures
• Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Stock, rotate, and label food and supply inventory
• Work with store team to coordinate food availability and presentation
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the counter as needed
• Handle basic cash or POS transactions when assisting customers
• Follow opening checklists and complete shift documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and work area
