Retail Associate

Value Chain (Going Going Gone!) is seeking a Retail Associate to support a fast-paced, value-focused store environment. In this role, you'll greet customers, answer product questions, and deliver efficient, friendly service at the sales floor and registers. You'll assist with stocking shelves, organizing racks, pricing and tagging closeout merchandise, and setting displays that highlight deals and move inventory quickly. Responsibilities include accurate cash handling, maintaining a clean and safe store, supporting inventory counts, and following loss prevention and safety procedures. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, efficient service on the sales floor and at checkout.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and balance the register.
• Stock shelves and racks, rotate inventory, and ensure merchandise is organized and easy to shop.
• Price and tag closeout and discounted merchandise to support fast, accurate inventory sell-through.
• Support visual merchandising by setting and maintaining displays that highlight deals and promotions.
• Assist with inventory counts, backroom organization, and replenishment from stockroom to sales floor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment, including fitting rooms and common areas.
• Follow loss prevention, cash-handling, and safety procedures to protect customers, team members, and assets.
• Collaborate with team members and follow direction from supervisors to meet sales and productivity goals.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on store needs.
