Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook hot and cold menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
• Follow residents' dietary needs, restrictions, and texture modifications as directed by care and dietary teams.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all kitchen and storage areas.
• Properly receive, label, rotate, and store food and supplies to ensure quality and minimize waste.
• Work collaboratively with dining services and care associates to provide a resident-first hospitality experience.
• Set up, operate, and safely clean kitchen equipment and tools.
• Assist with menu execution for daily service, specials, and community events.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and timely service for each meal period.
• Support inventory counts and communicate supply needs to supervisors.
• Participate in training and follow Brightview policies, procedures, and service standards.
