CDL A Intermodal Truck Driver

TransForce Inc. seeks a CDL A Intermodal Driver to safely move freight to and from rail yards and customer locations. You'll conduct pre/post trip inspections, follow DOT and safety regulations, and ensure on time deliveries while handling containers, chassis, and securement equipment. This role requires accurate logs, professional communication with dispatch and customers, and adherence to company and customer procedures. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor to move intermodal containers between rail yards and customer sites
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
• Maintain accurate logbooks/E-logs and required delivery documentation
• Safely couple/uncouple trailers, containers, and chassis
• Secure cargo and verify load integrity before transit
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and yard personnel
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while meeting on-time delivery expectations
• Adhere to rail yard and customer site procedures and security rules
• Represent Trans
