Industrial Electrician - PLC & Industrial Controls (Manufacturing)

Weyerhaeuser seeks an Industrial Electrician to support our Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance team. In this on-site role, you'll install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment to keep mill operations safe and reliable. You'll perform preventive and predictive maintenance, interpret electrical schematics, and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and strict safety practices, including lockout/tagout. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll support equipment upgrades, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, sustainability-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals to diagnose issues
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Collaborate with Engineering & Maintenance teams on equipment upgrades and process improvements
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair history in CMMSAssist with commissioning, calibration, and testing of new or modified equipment
• Support root-cause analysis and reliability initiatives to improve equipment performance
