CNC Mill Programmer / Setup Machinist

Program, set up, operate, and inspect CNC-milled components from blueprint through finished part. Use Haas controls and Mastercam or GibbsCAM to program and operate 4th- and 5th-axis machinery, select tooling and fixtures, verify programs, maintain precision tolerances, and troubleshoot machining and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC milling machines using Mastercam or Gibbs
• CAM.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, including 4th- and 5th-axis machinery.
• Read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences.
• Select and set up tooling, fixtures, workholding, and materials; verify programs through trial runs.
• Monitor machining and adjust settings to maintain tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring equipment and troubleshoot machining, setup, or quality issues.
