Senior Retail Sales Associate - Music Retail

Music & Arts is seeking a full-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, processing transactions, managing rentals, merchandising, and maintaining store standards. You'll support community-focused events, collaborate with lesson and school service teams, and help create a friendly, inclusive, and performance-driven environment that supports music education.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals
• Process sales, rentals, returns, and payments using POS systems
• Maintain merchandising standards and in-store product displays
• Support inventory management, including stock checks and tagging
• Coordinate with lesson and school service teams to support students and educators
• Educate customers on product features, benefits, and care
• Participate in in-store events and community outreach supporting music education
• Resolve customer issues professionally to ensure satisfaction
• Help train and mentor junior sales associates as needed
