CDL A Truck Driver - Entertainment and Event Freight

TransForce Inc. seeks a CDL A Driver to haul entertainment and event freight for concerts, tours, and production schedules. This role includes safe, compliant operation of tractors and trailers, on-time pickup and delivery, and secure loading/unloading of specialized equipment. Drivers follow FMCSA and DOT regulations, complete pre/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and communicate with dispatch and customers. Expect variable schedules, night and weekend runs, and occasional extended trips to support live events nationwide in a safety focused, professional culture.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers hauling entertainment and event freight
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings
• Ensure secure, damage-free loading, unloading, and cargo securement of production equipment
• Meet strict pickup, delivery, and call-time schedules for shows and events
• Comply with DOT and FMCSA regulations, including Hours-of-Service rules
• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation, including E-logs and inspection reports
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and production staff on load status
• Adapt to variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and extended multi-day trips
• Report maintenance needs and coordinate with shops to keep equipment roadworthy
