Ford Truck Automotive Service Technician

Promotive seeks an experienced Ford Truck Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light- and medium-duty Ford trucks. You'll handle advanced electrical, drivability, and diesel systems work using OEM tools and service information. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, performing routine services, completing detailed repair documentation, and ensuring work meets safety and quality standards. You'll collaborate with service advisors, support junior techs, and stay current on evolving Ford technologies through ongoing technical training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford trucks, including gas and diesel platforms
• Perform advanced electrical, drivability, and emissions diagnostics using OEM tools
• Complete scheduled maintenance, inspections, and safety checks to OEM standards
• Document repair orders, parts used, and labor times accurately in shop systems
• Collaborate with service advisors to clarify customer concerns and repair timelines
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control procedures in the shop
• Participate in ongoing training on new Ford truck technologies and systems
• Maintain clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment
