Site Director, Before & After School Programs

The Site Director, Before & After School Programs leads an elementary school-based out-of-school-time program, supervising staff and overseeing daily operations. Using provided curriculum, they design engaging, age-appropriate activities, ensure safety and licensing compliance, and maintain a positive environment. The role builds strong relationships with children, families, school partners, and the community, and supports enrollment and site growth while modeling high-quality care and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise teachers to deliver engaging, age-appropriate before and after school programming.
• Ensure the site meets licensing, safety, and educational standards at all times.
• Use provided curriculum to plan and implement daily activities that promote learning and development.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and community partners.
• Manage enrollment and support recruitment of new families to sustain and grow the program.
• Oversee daily site operations, including schedules, materials, and documentation.
• Monitor child supervision and behavior management to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about child participation and program updates.
