Direct Sales Representative

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to drive CRM solution sales for biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers in the Houston area. In this field-based role, you will prospect and qualify leads, manage a defined territory, and close new and renewal business with healthcare and life sciences clients. You'll conduct product demos, translate customer needs into tailored CRM solutions, and maintain accurate pipelines in our CRM. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support implementation handoffs, and uphold compliance and ethical standards while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and close new CRM sales within assigned Houston territory
• Manage and grow relationships with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare clients
• Conduct tailored CRM product demos and presentations to key decision-makers
• Maintain accurate pipeline, activities, and forecasts within the CRM system
• Collaborate with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding
• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
• Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies
