Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia, Texas, is actively seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity beginning May 1, 2026. This is a vacancy due to department restructuring, and the client anticipates the need for multiple physicians moving forward.
Position Highlights:
24-hour ER shifts
Average patients per 24-hour shift
20 shifts needed per month starting in May
Ongoing coverage
EMR: MEDHOST
Trauma Level IV facility
Stroke-certified hospital
7-bed Emergency Department
Support staff: 2 RNs per shift
Admissions required
No APP supervision required
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Active Texas license required at time of submission
ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required- we can help with this!
Additional Details:
Scheduled clinical hours only
Travel and malpractice insurance provided
Facility accepts multiple physicians
Ongoing need with consistent monthly volume
