Branch Operations Manager Trainee - Car Rental

As a Manager Trainee at Avis Budget Group, you'll learn every aspect of our transportation and warehousing operations, from front-line customer service to back-office logistics. Working in a fast-paced, on-site rental location, you'll support daily branch performance, oversee vehicle flow and inventory, assist with staffing and scheduling, and help ensure safety and service standards are met. Through structured training and hands-on experience, you'll build the leadership, analytics, and operational skills needed to progress into an assistant or location manager role in our global mobility network.

Responsibilities

• Support daily branch operations for vehicle rental and return
• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service at the counter and on the lot
• Assist with fleet coordination, vehicle flow, and inventory accuracy
• Help manage staffing schedules and task assignments for front-line teams
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare basic operational reports
• Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and brand standards
• Resolve routine customer issues and escalate complex concerns as needed
• Participate in structured leadership and operations training modules
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and customer experience
• Develop skills to assume an assistant manager or location manager role
