Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician

Smurfit Westrock seeks an Electrical and Instrumentation Tech for its manufacturing operations. In this on-site role, you will maintain and troubleshoot electrical power, controls, and instrumentation for high-speed paper-based packaging equipment. Responsibilities include calibrating sensors and transmitters, reading schematics, supporting PLC- and drive-based systems, and executing preventive maintenance. Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical and instrumentation systems for packaging lines and process equipment.
• Calibrate, configure, and document performance of sensors, transmitters, and control instruments.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals to resolve issues quickly.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
• Support PLC- and drive-based control systems with basic fault finding and coordination with engineers.
• Apply strict safety practices, including LOTO and NFPA-70
• E, and participate in safety audits.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement projects.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS and communicate status to supervisors.
